Please be advised that all mail addressed to the United Nations is subject to sterilization involving the use of radiation and/or chemical agents.  These procedures may have a degrading effect on:
  • electronic or magnetic equipment
  • undeveloped films
  • food
  • pharmaceuticals

Such items, if required, should be sent by courier.

To the extent possible, correspondence with the United Nations should be transmitted by electronic mail or facsimile.
