Your name is Maria. You are a journalist. You wrote a story in your newspaper that made someone in a high position angry. The next day unidentified people broke into your home and took you away. You were put in a room alone. No one has offered to do anything for you. You have been there for weeks. Maria has been deprived of a number of basic rights. Using the Universal Declaration, find out which ones. Write an open letter to newspapers around the world about why your arrest and detention are arbitrary and how they violate your human rights. |
