"Air Pollution in Athens", Data-Actions-Perspectives In this project's framework, and given the fact that our school is situated at the center of Athens, we decided to do an investigation concerning our school and its surroundings. Therefore, we decided to conduct a survey to show the critical stage that pollution has reached -- a problem faced by all big cities, including Athens. We were sixty pupils divided into ten groups when we started the survey on this problem last October. We went to libraries, attended lectures, took measures, asked the citizens' opinion, exchanged messages with comments and questions about the air pollution problem with the "Young Reporters" from all over Europe, wrote articles and made radio broadcasts. We would like to express our hope and wish that our work will arrive slowly but surely at its destination and (why not?) also become a stimulus for other students to work on similar projects. Believe us it is worth it!
