Tigers Online!

Student researchers in countries of present and former tiger population ranges collaborated via an internet discussion group at www.iearn.org for Tiger Conservation. Participants interviewed scientists, government officials and they also investigated scientific literature to determine the status of tiger population and habitats in their respective countries, since the turn of the century. Students collaborated from Novosibirsk and Kazhakstan, Russia, China, Hungary and the United States. The results were presented at the YouthCan in April 1998 and will soon be available online at www.iearn.org
