Water conservation, waste recycling and soil conservation In the art center, the children use recycled office and computer paper to draw on. Instead of buying fancy plastic art supplies, the children use their imagination and create works of art using recycled plastic bottles, milk cartons, toilet paper rolls and cardboard boxes. Instead of using the drinking fountains and letting the water run, they use cups and pour in only as much as they can drink They pour whatever is left, on their indoor plants. They have planted their own flower and vegetable garden. The plants help to keep the air clean and the children are able to eat the vegetables when they are ripe. They taste good since they are pesticide free.
