Work & Economic Security Explanation

The future can be uncertain and most likely unpredictable. Having enough money to live in security is not always easy for some. For many poor around the world, small economic changes in income can easily affect them. Most poor are living on the edge. Having economic security may not be a reality for them.

Economic security is having the means to live a stable and fulfilled lifestyle. For many, economic security is simply having enough money to fulfill their basic needs: food, adequate shelter, basic healthcare and education.

Economic security is connected to employment. Having access to adequate paying and stable work makes for security. With this security comes many privileges that people in developed countries sometimes take for granted, such as access to credit and loans. Without secure work, most banks and credit companies will not provide services.
