Expert Group Meeting (EGM) on Indigenous Peoples' Development with Culture and Identity, 12-14 January 2010, United Nations Headquarters, New York. The Meeting will be attended by Permanent Forum members, indigenous experts, States and representatives from UN Agencies and Funds. Representatives of indigenous peoples organizations are all welcome to attend.
International Human Solidarity Day, proclaimed by the General Assembly to take place on 20 December each year. In order to increase awareness of social development issues and the importance of this international day, and in light of the rise of social media as a key means by which people are interconnected, this year we are spreading the word through a Facebook page.
