UNITED NATIONS VOLUNTEERS PROGRAMME


        The United Nations Volunteers programme ( UNV ) was created by the General Assembly in 1970.  UNV serves as an operational partner in development cooperation at the request of United Nations Member States.

         UNV operates through the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and works through UNDP country offices around the world.
